Mental Health First Aid Training

Join the Counseling Center for a Mental Health First Aid Training! On February 20th, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm in the Bartlett Bldg. #2, Room 203.

Learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults. You’ll also learn how to support someone in crisis and connect them with the right help. This course includes a 2-hour, self-paced online session that must be completed before attending the in-person, instructor-led training.

Alexander Timofeev, Philadelphia-based composer and pianist, presents a program of piano works inspired by the music of P.I. Tchaikovsky. The recital will also feature a section of lesser-known piano works by Moldovan composers, sharing with the audience this largely unexplored Eastern European concert music frontier of the last half-century.

American Dream Mall Trip

Student Life’s first trip of the semester is on sale now at the Box Office in the Student Center for the American Dream Mall on Saturday, February 21st!
Bus will leave from lot #2 at 10am and leave the mall to head home at 6pm.
Your ticket will include round trip transportation to and from the mall ONLY. Other excursions at the mall, including the theme park, water park, skiing, and more can be purchased on their website.

$15 Students / $20 Fac/Staff/alum / $25 Guests

The Stars From My Backyard

A live presenter uses “the magic of the dome” to teach school-aged children about the sun, moon, weather, and the constellations and planets visible in the current sky. Along the way, fun stories, songs, and even a passing rainstorm help make this an exciting introduction to the sky for elementary school-aged children and their families. This live, presenter-led show is approximately 50 minutes long, and best suited for elementary grade levels.

Experience the Aurora

Over seven months in the Arctic Circle, our crews captured timelapse images of the Aurora Borealis with high-resolution digital SLR cameras outfitted with fisheye lenses. The results are spectacular. For the first time, the aurora has been captured as it was meant to be experienced, as a display that covers the entire sky. This immersive show shares the science behind the aurora and tells the story of our quest to find and photograph the aurora for wraparound display in full-dome theaters.
